Chrome plating is the process by which an electrical charge is applied to a plating bath, containing an electrolytic salt solution. The electrical charge causes the chromium metal in the bath to fall out of the solution and deposits onto metallic objects placed into the plating bath.
The chromed layer can provide corrosion resistance, ease cleaning procedures, increase surface hardness or can be used as a decorative element.
In 2015, MEDZES Components invested in the Nickel / Chrome 3+ line, with high capacity, that meets all environmental requirements. This investment allowed us to offer products with nickel/chrome 3+ coating.
By adding nickel and chrome to steel parts, you can improve the appearance of the parts while raising both corrosion and abrasion protection for the surface layer. There is an opportunity to get different levels of both shine and protection, based on what best suits client requirements.
How do we do it?
Step 1
Cleaning and degreasing the parts.
Step 2
Nickel plating the parts.
Step 3
Chroming the parts.
Product size limitations for chrome-plating is 1650 x 60 x 95cm.
